I have a set of 77 KZ 1000 carbs

I have a set of 77 KZ 1000 carbs , these were done by a very worthy mechanic, my difficulties is that the float bowls seem to leak. I took the bowls back off and made sure the gaskets were in place and such and putthem back together. They still leak in areas! I am not that familiar but and handy enough to pull them back off and retry! Any suggestions on anything please?

It is probably time to replace the bowl gaskets. Once they dry out and get brittle they seem to seep alot around the edges.

If you cant fix it with a Hammer....... it's gotta be an Electrical problem...

along with new gaskets, make sure the bowls are flat, the screw hole area can become raised from someone wrenching down on the screws.
This can be fixed be either a file, or fix some sand paper to a board, a few passes should flatten the area out again.
