Been thinking of getting one.......I'm guessing I'll need a 7 gal. model for a rack of 4 carbs. Pro's/Con's?? Seems like a lots of choices, if i'm going to spend the $$, I want a good one.

What are they asking for one?

I tried boiling carbs, tank full of solvent and a massager underneath, blah blah...

the only thing that really worked was good old carb cleaner and powerful compressed air.

Well, that and a bottle of seafoam. That stuff is the $%&!

It really works!

I tried one and didn't get near the results shown above. IMO carb cleaner is the way to go, but whatever floats your boat. BTW a 1 gallon will take a full carb. You'll have to separate the rack.

if your doing a lot of carbs like as in making a living doing they are a great idea but if your only doing a few sets over the course of a lifetime then the expense is not really worth it, if you only have one or two heads to get done you won't go and buy a set of seat cutters the price of them is so high it just dosen't make sense unless your doing it for a living.

if you are doing 1 carb at a time,1 gallon can of berryman's carb dip with basket, doesn't seem to bother rubber too bad, whole rack of carbs,i use chemdip's parts cleaner solution, but need to take all rubber parts off appears to be water based, but it smells and it doesn't go away for a while. but it does work really good
