Forced induction guys. What carb and jet ?

Ok. All you guys running turbos/superchargers etc. Just for comparison what carb and main jet are you running and what capacity cylinder block ? Soon be time to set up the Drouin z1000( 1075cc )as seen elsewhere in Projects and just wondered if i'm anywhere close with the jetting i've already got. Currently got a Mr Turbo Keihin 42mm pumper with the 180 main it came with, no choke flap and she starts first kick from cold and instantly runs crisp and settled. Obviously need to give it a run to really find out but feel it's probably too rich at the present.

yup...

I don't have any experience with a Supercharger on a KZ, but I would expect the fuel demands to be similar to the turbo setup. I would think around 200 would be a good starting point. 180 would be close enough to fire up, but might be a little lean. Much will depend on the drive ratio you use on the street - that's the one thing with the supercharger that's a pain to tweak.

What ignition setup are you planning on running? I have the Dyna 2000 on the turbo. The new version of the 2000 are programmable from a computer, so you can tweak the advance/retard curves to tailor the setup.

Just running the basic Dyna 'S' currently timed at 35 deg full adv with four 1.5ohm coils for the twin plugged head and a Dyna rev limiter.

Looks a bit like my next project ?. Already collected enough bits to build a choice of either a 1395 and 1428 motor, Beefier Mk2 welded crank, geep head,MTC lock up. 05 ZX10R running gear in 750 zepher frame and underslung shock (maybe). Just got to lay my hands on a good Rajay.:)

Not to ignore your post - but i'm running a true bone stock Drouin set-up. No carb, just a manual throttle body with a dial-in jetting.

Need to compliment you on the bike - looks GREAT!

Did you make the pulley cover? I may have a reason to get you the 15lbs pulleys, since I need a trick cover;)

Hi. The pulley cover is the original Drouin one with some holes in. Did have a go at making my own but it just did not look right so bit the bullet and cut the original.

What sort of fuel consuption are you getting with the stock throttle body ?.
