Great chart and link. What we someone should do is make a chart that gives proper jetting for different variations. Like KZ900 with Mac 4 into 1, K&M Pods. There are so many options and carbs out there....Russ
1976 KZ 900 B1 29 smoothbores, Kerker, Lester Mags
2008 Kawasaki Concours 14 abs

Unfortunately, this would be difficult due to all the variables... Engine / camshaft mods, intake/exhaust vacuum, which pods, which exhaust/baffles, elevations/altitudes, OEM or EI ignition configurations, petcocks installed, carbs themselves etc....

Yes it's a pain in the ass and we go through many different trial/error jet size before dialing it in... Only way to truly accomplish dial in YOUR setup for every motor is slightly different....

Would get you close to start your final jetting just the same....

Websites such as this is basically doing that... ;)

Here you go, found an excellent article on Jetting in general....

NOTE: May be a little different in your exact carb setup but the definitions and what your trying to accomplish is the same pretty much for all carb jetting... Well defined! ;)

Another helpful source is the carb info provided by Z1E.
Scroll down to the charts, which also include 29 smoothbore.

Click here > Carb info at Z1E

Good Luck! :)
