Air box ducts

After changing my air filter I just now realized that the 1 & 4 ducts are curved does anyone know which direction there are supposed to be facing? up down toward each other or away from each other? or doesn't it matter? I figure since they are curved there must be a certain direction that they must face. Still searching for the perfect solution. Thanks

there should be little alignment tabs/dots or what ever there called on the airbox.
there should also be a little cutout of sorts on the ducts.
just align the marks up.
someday i will be able to afford my kz habit.

The outer ducts will curve in towards the air filter and can go on either side. Check out pic of aligning tabs...
