Hi hope someone can help us We have a kz900 1976 what do we adjust to make the bike engine run hotter or colder exhaust coming out of head 2 at 140 and other 2 are running at 180 What should they be at What makes it pop when first started after awhile it will quit It backfires out of the exhaust when you let of gas

if i'm reading this right you are probably have a problem with your pilot circuits on those two cylinders i'd be pulling the carbs off and cleaning them properly. with aresol carbleaner and compressed air also check your air screws or fuel screws which ever to make sure they are out the same amount. normally about a turn to turn and a half.
