BS34 Jet/Needle Info?

Hey all,

I've got Mikuni BS34 CV Carbs, and I want to richen the entire throttle range.

I've heard alot about changing jets, but what about the needle/taper for the mid range?

Or will just changing jets take care of this?

PS, Ive got stock airbox/emgo filter + 4-1 exhaust. Any jet/needle suggestions?

Wg Rejeted my bs34s. I will look for the jet info for you but im running pods and a V&H megaphone so I dont think what Im running would be right for you.

The jets will only take care of the last 20% of the throttle range. I have custom needles made for these. The set is $45 plus $4.50 post this includes spacers to richen them even more if you want. You can email me at otto@condormodels.com

have you ever had any problems with your carbs? My #1 keeps cutting out. (bs34)

I specialize in these carbs, and modifying them for pod filters. There could be all kind of problems with them. I just take them totally apart and boil the bodies. Than I replace the parts that require replacing wen I put them back together. I also perform certain modifications which the EPA would not agree with but the bike dose. :woohoo:

I hav'nt had any problems in particular. For the most part they've ran fine with all plugs looking the same, good valve clearances of course.

Just with my current exhaust setup, they're pretty lean through the mid range...

Cleaned Pilots really good, and drilled my mains out to 130 which helped the last 20% got new pilots on the way...

We shall see...
