vm 26 vs vm 28 w/ acc pump

any advantage to swapping out the stock carbs on my 77 ltd w/ a set from a 79 mark 2? is bigger better 26mm - 28mm and do the acc pumps make a big difference- i know what theyre for.. its just that i may do a 1075 later and am not sure the 26s will be enough carb, and im not wealthy enough to buy a set of 29 smoothies

bigger is better in your case grab the 28's they wll work well for anything up to about 1100 cc's. much better set-up than the 26 mm carbs
