Your disc there in picture? Notice the rivet heads? look a little different?  Maybe it was a replacement disc over the years? I'll try and get a better picture of this  8 K coded one. These rivets look like a point dead center of them, with less radius around outer edge?
I'm not in a hurry, I just don't want to ruin an early  '8'  code disc.

I checked it this morning.  It's a 9K date code (see right side of photo) and I've had it for several years.  I originally intended to use it on a Z1B I was restoring but I found another one that was correct for the bike and used it instead.  This one was vapour blasted and poorly painted by someone.  I haven't checked the thickness but I can do that if it's important.  Bolt holes are 10 centimeters apart when measured across the diameter.



 

Hi HRM. Date code or thickness doesn’t matter to me.
it is for a vintage drag bike using an Akront 18” laced to a Z1 hub.
my plan is separate it Blanchard grind it down to 4.5 mm.
then turn 3/8”-1/2”? off outer diameter to match a small Gremica caliper. I have to cut axle down, make a caliper bracket to mate of to a 170’s BETOR 35mm dirt bike frontend!
I have a lot of fabricating to do.
plus? Are you in BC? Canada/US border?

Yes, I'm in BC but not close to the border.  I'm about 4 hours from Vancouver, on the Trans Canada (#1) Highway.  The nearest city is Kamloops, about a half hour from me.

If you want it, it's yours for $25 plus shipping.  My guess on shipping is $50 to shuffle off to Buffalo.  Matt may want to do a double trade so I'll wait for his reply.
