Hey Gang - growing up in Sudbury, Ontario there were a group of haywires that all rode Kawasakis in the late 70's.

One guy had an old 500 triple, my brother had his Kz650 and the rest of the guys had tweaked 900's and 1000's. This group used to hand around the local watering hole that had cheap draft beer. The parking lot looked like a Kawasaki dealership.

There was one Finlander named Kai who had the fastest Kz of the group, a modified, black Kz1000 with an Alphabet header pipe.

Anyone know the history of these pipes. I never hear about them anymore. Were they only sold for a few years?
