Someone should make an adjustable pipe and that's at the collector and the exit end. How could that not sell?

Didn't Jardine make the Kz900-B "Ltd" pipes? Mine is in pretty good condition considering how much abuse it has taken. I could be wrong about the manufacturer.

I prefer the balanced look of the 4-2, but mine doesn't have the 1-4/2-3 collecting it is 1-2/3-4.

The OEM's are already doing this to a certain extent. Most of the newer sport bikes have a computer controlled exhaust valve that can open or restrict the exhaust as the PCM sees fit. It's on my 2004 zx-10r. Funny thing is that most guys remove them. I left mine in, doesn't seem to be slowing me down.

I'm running an open 4-1 header with stock airbox and stock everything else. The bike idles nicely and sounds beastly. Would I risk damaging internals if I kept riding like this? I really don't want to rejet. Thanks

did you buy it that way or add the header yourself?
if you added the header id guess it would be on lean side ;)

I just installed it yesterday and I love it so I hope I don't have to put on the muffler or rejet

I had my Kerker on for 28 years and bike ran great. Came across a nice stock system and installed it. My top end softened up some but bottom and especially midrange really woke up, which is where you spend most of your time anyway. I still havw Kerker but am enjoying stock for now....
