Heavy duty studs

Installing heavy duty studs,do I locktite all of them or is there something different with the four outside studs?Seems like I use to put silicone on them,been a long time

ive got one of those stupid questions,why are you using the heavy duty studs?if you decide to use them id reccomend using the stock studs on outside holes since tey are necked down to aid oil flow through oil gallerys of head.id say put some anti seize on them and torque to whatever the manufacturers instructions say.;)

We do not recommend Loctiting the studs in the case. Just torque then to 8 lbs.

A very serious problem on some KZs that people Loctited the studs is some of the stud holes in certain models have an opening to the main bearing area.

People have over done the Locktite and had it run into the main bearings.

There has never been an issue with oil getting up past the big studs.
