I need some engine mod gods to chime in here:) I need to know if I have enough clearence to run some high lift cams with my wiseco 810 kit. Im going to put in the kz750 cams to get it running for now, but Im planning on going bigger than that over the winter if possible.
just to cover the bases, its a 77 650 using a 750 block bored 3mm over, using the 650 head and valves. I want to put in a set of Web cams, either grind #110 (Strong mid range and top end for street / strip) or #189 (Excellent mid range and top end power for road race engines), preferably #189.
They are listed for use with kz 650/750 and gpz750. my potential problem (i think)is using the 650 head (smaller combustion chamber than 750 head) with big bore pistons for a 750. i guess the question would be: "do the 810 (750)pistons have the same or less clearance that the 700/720(650)pistons, and if its less, do I still have room for the big cams?"

Jay? anyone?
thx guys
Scott

For a streetbike, use the 110 grind and our VS900K springs.

Web Cam is one of our distributors, so I don't know if you would get ours or someone elses springs if you ordered from them.

Nearly all of the performance shops get their Kaw springs from us.

thx Jay,
I'll be getting your springs (I've been told you guys are the best).
I see some Web cams on your page for the bigger bikes, do you do the welding and regrinding of cams as well, specifically the ones Im planning on getting?
