That engine should drop right into your KZ650. The KZ750 uses electronic ignition, so you will need the Ignitor from a KZ750. Also, the KZ750 has a different alternator setup. so use the regulator/rectifier from the KZ750 as well. Lastly, the KZ750 uses 630 gauge drive chain. You can use the sprockets and chain from your KZ650, and it will work just fine.

The 750/4 wasn't available until 1980 in North America...so just to avoid problems in the future, make sure you know what it is he's selling.
