Lead Substitute?
18 Aug 2006 15:17
First Post. First Bike.
I just got a 1978 KZ 200 with only 4,800 miles (photos in the gallery). I believe it is completely original. I don't have an owners manual and was wondering if a lead substitute/ additive was a good idea to add to regular gas. The bike runs great and there is no problems that I can tell, I just want to keep it in good shape.
Thanks.

the bikes have a hard seat in them from the factory, you should not need lead additive,, plus 78 was a no lead era
