Sorry, but my whole point in quoting from Mobil's oil site wasn't to put anyone down, but to show that the so-called expert who did the research in the 1994 study was full of sh*t.
I didn't take it as you putting anyone down, I just read it as you expressing an opinion, and everyone has the right to express their opinion on here :)

I don't expect anyone to accept my opinion, I'm flattered if they read it and then think about it, if they then disagree with it then I'll think about what they say and maybe even learn something from it.

I like to argue tech stuff, but it's never personal to me, I just argue over the tech angle, and I don't believe anyone is stupid/ignorant/anything else if they disagree with what I say, heck, I may even think they are smarter than me :D

I get Shell Rotella T for free, so it's fine for my bikes :D

better safe than sorry for me I spend a lot of money on internal engine parts. thx.

Actually, my Honda takes 10W-30 in the manual tranny. :silly:
