750twin exhaust hunt.

So i recently pulled a 1983 750csr twin out of a ditch in the west coast of Ireland, its about 30% rotten. One of those rotten parts is the exhaust. I'm looking for either new standard headers not a 2 into 1 or a work around. Iv looked just about everywhere on this side of the pond as importing a full exhaust over here is just a no no. My work around is fabbing collars that will fit the csr that will except a Triumph Bonneville 750 set in stainless so they can be cut or tweaked the just like the setup below. Has anyone done this before? iv looked through old posts and can find nothing off hand.

So the Bonneville T140 is... 44.45mm inlet flange and 34.925 pipe compared to the 750csr at 47mm inlet flange and 42mm pipe. My question first off is..will a smaller diam pipe effect back pressure much before the exhaust fumes get as far as the muffler? Assuming both pipes have a similar wall thickness.

KZ's have double wall headers. the ID of the exhaust is about 34mm. When i built the custom-header for my 750 twin i used 1.5" tube 16GA wall which is about 35mm ID

You are a life saver sir, I would never have thought that the 750 would have used a double wall tube. I was going to dump the idea in favor of 42mm mandrel bends and weld up my own exhaust, I can use the t40 pipe and can now. Thanks DoctoRot.
