Hey everone! New to the forum. I recently purchased a 2002 kz1000p. Ive friended some kz groups on facebook and finally jumped on here. Im in search for a good parts website thats somewhat specific to this kz model or at least for the 1000cc bikes. Ive done some googling and i feel like i just get a mess of shit post adds and what have you while i make my searches. Ebay seems to have alot of stuff but also feels hard to specify parts for the model. Could someone throw some links out to some reliable websites that carry parts for carburetor rebuild kits, engine gaskets and the likes. Much appreciated!
-Jake

Howdy. Partzilla has diagrams & they are a Kawasaki parts dealer. some parts are NLA. The partzilla info isn't perfect, so sometimes a price will be listed but the part isn't available. If there's a photo of a part, then they should have it. Lacking a photo, maybe they do, maybe they don't. Sometimes New/NOS parts can be found on eb. EB & Z1Enterprises.com are where I get most stuff. At partzilla click the part number for the cross-reference.

What I do is search the part number on EB to see if NOS is available, then search by part name, then alternate name. Then decide what to do. Some NOS items are way overpriced on eb. Z1Ent lists some oem parts & I think they can get whatever Kawasaki parts are available. Z1Ent has colored wire & electrical connectors, but I usually get electro stuff from CycleTerminal.com.

Carb rebuild tutorial linked below. It's for Suzuki version Mikuni's but those are almost identical to the carbs on your bike.
Don't buy junky aftermarket carb kits. Get gaskets and new O-rings, and maybe new real deal Mikuni float valves as needed.

Partzilla is great as martin referenced and there are lots of other similar sources. You can get the PN from a source like this and then search ebay for a discounted price if need be.

Good luck with your project.
