Hello,

I believe the block is from a 1982 KZ750 and the head is 1983 GPZ

What is the recommend first and second ring gaps values. The service manual only states the service replacement limit of 0.7 mm I believe.

Here are my measurements: All measurements were taken at the depth.
Cylinder 1: F: .406 mm S: .483 mm
Cylinder 2: F: .381 mm S: .381 mm
Cylinder 3: F: .381 mm S: .381 mm
Cylinder 4: F: .330 mm S: .483 mm

Cylinders 1 and 4 also had some oil stains on the walls. That might explain why the gaps are slightly larger. Also this is my first time measuring, so there might be some user error.

How would I figure out the minimum gap clearances?

Those end gaps are fine. I'm not sure what the new factory spec is but it's tighter than what you are measuring. As a data point the Suzuki GS750 has a new spec of .1-.3mm and a service limit of .7.

There is a chart at the bottom of this document you can use to figure correct end gap.
