Will the cylinder head from an 84 kz750 swap straight across to an 84 zn700A? My 700 has popped the #3 plug & completely obliterated the hole. But I've got an 84 kz750 complete engine sitting right beside it. But before I started ripping them apart I was curious if it was even possible. That way I'm not out 2 motors.....
The 750 does run but has a low compression as well as a knock in the lower end. The 700 is my daily rider,but with the exception of a FEW minor mods. Carbs from an zn1100,modified exhaust.....etc.
But will it basiclly pull off of one to retro fit the other without very much hassle?

Before you do a engine or cyl. head swap i would try a Time Sert insert repair on #3 plug thread and it will safe you some time and Money.
