Z1000 (1015cc) cylinder sleeve O.D.

Hello
I have a 1975 Z1-B 900 with the original engine but fitted by the previous owner with a Z1000 (1015cc casting) cylinder so he could use 1075cc wiseco kit.
I have the, and want to use the original 903cc barrel which I have but with no sleeves in.
Can I remove the sleeves out of the 1015cc barrel and have the 903cc barrel machined so that they will fit in?
I know the 903cc sleeves were about 73mm O.D. how much bigger are the 1015cc sleeves.
The engine has only done a few hundred miles on the 1075cc kit and is like new..
The bike is all date coded right and the engine is the original number for the bike but it just looks wrong with 1015cc on the barrel and not 903cc like it should.
Help ould be most welcome.
Chris

So you want to bore out a set of clean 75-900 jugs to fit a 1000 kit that is in your bike now and working fine, are you another one of those guys that would rather work on a bike then ride it?
Yes you can but....
