1982 KZ750E petcock

1982 KZ750E petcock

Hi guys,

I am in the middle of rebuilding an 82 KZ750E, the fuel tank did not come with a petcock in it. I see that the part number is 51023-1029 but I cannot find one anywhere (under 50 bucks) I've seen in a few other posts around here people suggesting others. I believe the size is supposed to be 44mm? Does anyone have any leads on a different one that is confirmed to work? Sorry if this has been answered before.

Measure the bolt hole spacing center-to-center. I believe the KZ1000P Police petcock is 44mm, but you'd need to verify that.

The kz1000p petcock is 44mm, and it fit to replace a 51023-1023 part on my 1980 kz650E, but I don't know if 51023-1029 has the same spacing.
