Oil Change Sounds Better
25 Feb 2019 19:21
The other day my son and I changed the oil on my 77 KZ650. Well really, I did it since its so simple. I noticed before the oil change, I could hear "chain noise" but after the oil change the bike ran so smooth.
The last time I changed the oil was last year, as the bike sits and I dont let the bike sit for longer than a year. I started it up every now and then. Still, the oil was black, but thats not an issue since it has now been changed.
Has anyone noticed their bike runs better after an oil change?

Starting it up and letting it sit there running without riding it is about the worst thing you can do do it.

I change the oil at the end of the season and a couple of times during the season and yeah I can tell the bike is happier with fresh oil.
