My bike goes into first fine. I can feel it enguage. But my bike will not go. Rpms go up. If the back tire is off the ground, the back tire will go. But with any weight on the bike it won’t go.
I have replaced my clutch friction plates and the problem is still present.
Someone please give me some help.
I rode the bike over 100 miles one day and the next day this happens. Not sure why and I am out of ideas. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks you.

It sounds like the clutch may be slipping. Have you adjusted it? Ed

Some possibilities,
The clutch cable is rusted, gummed up or fraying, thus unable to fully retract.
The clutch release rod is gummed up with chain lube, dirt and such, thereby unable to fully release.
There is Energy Conserving oil in the crankcase causing the clutch to slip.
There is only one correct way to adjust the clutch cable. Doing the adjustments in the wrong order will often lead to frustration.
