Cylinder Head Dowel Pin O-Rings

Getting around to the head gasket finally on my KZ750-M1.  There are four O-Rings on the dowels for oil seals.  The part in NLA but I do see some NOS ones on eBay etc.  Z1e does not have them.  Would you guys buy the old parts or try to match up some O-Rings at the parts store/online?  What's the recommended material for this application?  Viton?
