I used to use aftermarket clutch kits/plates/springs (usually a barnett) on low hp bikes (read cheapskates  ) but now I've ended up staying with OEM clutch packs for any of my high horsepower stuff. OEM clutches have always worked best 4 me , sometimes I added a lockup and/or springs.

"Because just plain awesome is not good enough to describe them."

I'm sorry Jay but I would have expected a more technical explanation. I'm not the local yocal needing clutches nor am I Elmer Trent! But I did expect something along the lines of "they grip better and don't chatter like barnetts, they have predictable wear, they don't break up only to find them in the pan"

I've found the OEM's to be some of, if not the best, tell me why these are awesome!

P.S. Not trying to be a horses Ass, Your product, sell me on it.

I'm not trying to be mean! I'm asking a legitmite question that most wont ask, be it afraid of reprecussions or political suicide. I'll answer all questions I can, If I can't, I'll tell you "I don't know and I'll do my homework" If after that I can't give you a good sound answer, I'll tell you, "It's beyond my reach or out of my capability!" Just being honest!

It seems the question remains as to anyone's experience with using this clutch on the street.

Good Fortune! :)

I've read all the manufacturer's ads. Have tried other clutches ( barnet, FBG ) but have gone back to OEM. With all the good things that I have gotten from APE, was just wondering how they stacked up (pun intended). Besides they are less expensive than OEM.
