Hi
I put those same 3 ohm dyna s coils on my 83 gpz 1100. You mention shrink wrap.
Are you saying that that portion of the coil must not touch the frame?

I fitted a tie-wrap (aka cable wrap or zip tie) around the coil mount spacers that are close to the screw heads.
But any of several methods may be used to insulate a screw head from the coil mount spacer.
Another method would be fitting a non-conductive spacer, such as a spacer made of nylon or plastic.
Each coil has two primary terminals. And each terminal has a screw for attaching a wire.
One of the screw heads is the screw that attaches a red or red/yellow wire (brown wire used in the above pic) , which wire carries battery positive voltage whenever the ignition switch is ON.
It must not be allowed to short to ground, such as touching a metal coil mount spacer.
The other screw head is the screw that attaches a black or green wire, which wire must also not be allowed to short to ground, such as touching a metal coil mount spacer.
Typically, only one of the two screw heads is located near a coil mounting spacer.
Good Fortune!
