SORRY IF I OFFENDED ANYONE...

I doubt that.

You're being defensive, not apologetic - there's a difference.

I'd decided that I'd had an end of this thread, but because of what follows and the further replies you made to other's responses....

...PTERSARUS BUT I DIDN'T ASK FOR YOUR OPINION OF WHAT I ALREADY DID...RIGHT OR WRONG BAND AID FIX 0OR NOT....

No, that's EXACTLY what you asked for.

And when you got it, you didn't like it.

1. Don't like being told EXACTLY what will fix your problem?

2. Can't take a hint that pros make a living doing what they do and acting like a slavering weasel around them, hinting for handouts and freebies is begging for *the bum's rush*?

3. Tough.

Opinions were EXACTLY what you asked for. And you got 'em. Straight up.

I HOPE TO HEAR FROM PEOPLE THAT HAVE ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM LIKE MINE IF NOT SOME IDEAS WOULD BE FINE BUT NOT TO SHOOT EVERYTHING I ATTEMPTED DOWN.

Sunshine, I've owned big Kaws for 30 years. How many times you think I've seen the same issues?

How many times do you think a thousand of us have seen the same issues?

Your real "problems" are that you have the literal comprehension skills, personality profile and manners of a goat.

And that's NO opinion - it's a FACT.

There's professional assistance for problems like yours, and it ain't at bike shops.

I LIKE YOU HAVE AN OLDER KAWASAKI AND EVERYONE HAS GOT TO START SOMEWHERE..

And you were told EXACTLY where to start.

... SO DON'T BE SO CRITICAL.

Critical? Take a pill, dOOd.

You keep using that word. It's an open question whther it means what you think it means.

Try looking up "satire" in the dictionary sometime.

[senseless prattle deleted]

{re: WG) ....IF THERE IS A POST FROM ME IT REALLY DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU POST A REPLY OR NOT.

Okay, now I'm gonna get *critical*.

And that last line's the key. There's the proof of what's really between your ears. You're a thin-skinned, mealy-mouth PUNK that can dish it out, can't take it, and even presume to snap at the hands (WG's) that are trying to help you, unless that help arrives in the form of a velvet hanky to wipe your pouty little a$$.

First post was a question, second post was an answer, then it went downhill :(

The policy of the KZR Mods is the first Mod on the scene has responsiblity for the thread, and since Wiredgeorge was here first it's his call.
Personally, I'd whack all the posts except for the first two, but that's just my way of dealing with it :)

I don't understand why anyone would get upset about Pterosaur's first post though, sheesh, he answered the question and provided a link for more info:dry:

Of course it would be a lot better if some people would edit their own posts :)

Rule 10 (click the link in my sig for the full Monte) :)

10) Last, but not least, be civil. You are a guest here and bad
behavior "Will" get you escorted to the door, and prohibitted from
returning.

By the way, if anyone wants their post deleted, just edit out the content and say "Please delete" in your edited post.

You're right Steel, I'm onboard with that. I just re-read the whole thing and I've got to say I am amazed at the civil tone used by OKC Kent and WiredGeorge.

So... let's all start over and play nice?

Steve, I almost never look at the board on weekends as I am generally trying to avoid thinking about motorcycle repair hehe... This weekend was no different although I did tune a set of sweeeeet BS34s on Saturday AM and spent the rest of Saturday putting trim in my shop as well as Sunday after church. Carpentry doens't seem to be my strong suite! Anyway, Steve, always feel free to whack/hack at any thread I started to moderate in my absense. This one kind of spun out of control. I locked it. Let it serve as a guide for how NOT to go about seeking help for a tech issue. I will be a bit quicker to lock inflamatory threads in the future! Locking the thread late is sort of like shutting the barn door once the horse got loose....
