deglazing cylinders

quick question...plan on degalzing my own cylinders...82 kz1000..stock bore...ordered 2 7/8 inch ball hone...180 grit...sound right?? any input appreciated..

sounds fine.

a half dozen strokes is all it takes.

I think I used 220 grit, but I am sure 180 will be fine. The ball hone works great
