KZ1000 engine in a KZ750L3 frame?

Haven't even started the rebuild on the Z650. That will be next years project.

Baldy, do you have a picture of the bike in the gallery? If so in the 1100 section or the 650 section?

That engine looks like it's packed in there! The bike sure looks good.

Any tips on the air intake? The engine I bought (yay!) didn't come with pods, and I don't know what kind of exhaust it had on it. I'm worried about doing the carbs. I have NO idea how to do that, or whether I can install a kz750 airbox and pray for the best.

A 750 airbox will not work. You will have to fab up an airbox or go with Pods.

I figured that would be what I'd have to do. I like the look of pods, anyway. And I know a guy who got a set of vacuum gauges. Maybe he knows what he's doing!
