FWIW

You have to watch the kit seals. Some of them are cheap junk. Veserah stuff is usually pretty good but not always.

I push valve seals on with my finger after applying some white assembly grease. The good ones don't deform and remain nice & pliable like and OEM seal. The junk ones oval out when pushed onto the guide.

The blue viton seals seem pretty good. They're nice and pliable like an OEM Kawasaki valve seal.

Wow. Some good stuff here. Lots to think about. The Viton are sounding better and better...and not a bad price either.

Being a GM Tech for 10 Years And A Ford Tech for 1 and 1/4 Years I can tell you that Gm Quality is Superior, But Ford has a Far better diagnostic system, you walk around front and it tells you whats wrong......

Every set of seals so far have failed after about 9 - 10 years, miles did not seem to be relevant. It's the number of heating and cooling cycles that kills rubber. City riding (like mine) kills them in quicker mileage. I think the first set went 40k miles, second set went maybe 20k, and third set maybe 15k (I was riding less per year later in life).
