Stupid duplication glitch got me for doing a preview twice I guess before posting, must have been written by ex-MS programmers....

MOTOR RUNS ON PUKE!!!!!

Who knew that a motorcycle could run on vomit? Below are a couple of pictures of what i found in the oil pan of the '93 cop bike. I found this goo on various parts of the motor. Otherwise, the motor appears to be in good condition. As soon as I get a third pair of hands, I'll be pulling it from the frame and cleaning the exterior. I'm hoping by the end of the week to have the motor switched and running and bike painted. Thanx for your help I'll keep posting pix.

That looks like moisture got to the oil. Lots of moisture.

The right thing to do! I just finished mine yesterday. It was the cleanest engine i have pulled the pan on. There was a line a crud in the tranny area.
Get some new exhaust gaskets. Jeff Saunders sells them.

The "puke" looks like what we used to drain outta small-block Chevy's after a head gasket blow (thereby allowing coolant into the oil...YUKK!)
