I was kinda figuring on that. I am aimed mostly at the harley guys with more money than sense. There is no shortage of squids around me tho. Thanks again for the input. All of it is useful.

I still pop in occasionally but haven't worked on my bike in a while so not much to report really. I think there are some good threads on here about getting 100hp from a 750. The trouble is most 600 sports bikes make more than that, weigh less and handle better...

My bike is going to have a full frame built for it by Camchain. Right now as it sits in just mock up form with most of the original frame intact it is already quite light. No full race bike, but that is not my intent. By the time it is back together it should be a very light bike. Only the necessities are going back on it.
Lorcan, can I pick your brain about the 831cc build you spoke of in this thread. kzrider.com/forum/2-engine/323817-questi...-kit-for-a-77-kz-650 It is what originally got my interested in the 810 and 831 build for my bike.

I didn't really speak of it, I just said an 831 kit would use a 70mm bore. Injected said that MTC made a kit that size. I have used RC 67mm pistons (760cc) and Wiseco 69mm pistons (810cc) and it's also possible with some extra work to go to 72mm (880cc) or 73mm (904cc).

Lorcan, Thanks for the info. Any other info you might have on the 831 or 810 that would help me set one up as a big cam/ high rpm/ high comp/ pump gas engine would be awesome. Thanks.
Mark1122, Thanks! I love you signature too! The one about 0-stupid. All too true.

My advice would be to stick with the tried and tested 810 unless you have plenty of money

Several, just do a search.
It's pretty easy actually, a 83-85 GPz750 motor starts off at 85 hp, 10% over bore adds 10% more power so you're at 93.5 already. Shave the head 0.030", good 5 angle valve job and a decent pipe will put it over 100 hp.
Search the web for "GPz750 FAQ", the road race guys have been doing it for years.
