Offset CC Sprocket Link: 630 & 530 Pitch!

Well wouldn't you know it...

A new source for well made offset counter sprockets in both 630 & 530 pitches... The 530 @ 18 tooth (conversion between 630 to 530) has been discussed widely and here we go.... $84.50 plus shipping.

americanclassix.com/kawa_improvements.html

As written previously, Sonsabitch! for obtaining an 18 tooth 530 was near impossible to find.

Ah well, next conversion/project...

Don't worry TB, I stuck with the 630 setup (15 tooth front, 35 rear)... The 18 tooth was based on tooth / 5 x 6 formulations for conversions. In my project, this would have also been required due to larger ZX pivot tube area.

Obviously I would have had to do the same for the rear. Come to think of it, this was another reason I stayed with the 630... The rear 35 conversion is 42 tooth count... Was having a hard time finding a rear 42 count sprocket.

All in all, based on all the postings, discussions and experiences and issues with this topic, I'm very happy I stuck with my 630 thank you! ;)

Regarding americanclassix.com, I know some others have had bad experiences but for me, 100% all good!... Slightly higher in pricing, maybe but the plastic side covers I received with reinforced pins are very well built, extremely firm polymer.

I'm running a 18/40 530 combo with my 160/60-17 tire and it' has slightly lower overall gearing than the stock 15/35T with a 110/90-18" setup.

I believe the sprockets that American Classix carries are from Klasmo in Germany. I bought my 18T 530 sprocket from Klasmo about 6 years ago and its a good quality product.

I am in the process of putting a zx 11 wheel with a 180 tire on the back of my 900 and was wondering if i can run a 5/8" offset sprocket with a 630 chain or will it hit the frame? I already have a brand new 630 chain on it from when it had the 130, so kinda hate to have to buy a new high dollar chain if I don't have to. Also if this is possible where might i find a 630 rear sprocket to fit th zx11 hub, I'm not sure on gearing yet guess it depends on what i can get. Plan on drag racing it mostly 1/8 th mile. Thanks for any and all info you guys may have and have a great day.

Slowly its getting there, trying to get suspension and drive train done then going to try to build a motor maybe next winter. Someday I want to get a eddie lawson fairing and do the EL paint job also, always kinda liked those.
