Crank to Bearing Clearance Questions

A few engine questions:

1. Is there a general rule of thumb on what the main and rod journal to bearing clearance should be? I'm rebuilding the bottom end of one of my 1985 GPz550 Engines, prepping it for the long-awaited APE 615cc Kit to be installed, after I send APE the crank and rods to have them checked out. The Kawasaki Factory Service Manual states the following:
- Connectinng Rod Bearing Insert/Crankpin Clearance
0.031-0.059mm (0.001-0.002" ) and a servicve limit of 0.10mm (0.003" ).
- Crankshaft Main Bearing Insert/Journal Clearance
0.014-0.038mm (0.0005- 0.001" ) and a service limit of 0.08mm (0.003" ).

2. Because of the Megacycle Cams(#478-60 Profile) and R&D Springs(329-K) I'll be using on this engine, Megacycle has recommended using only the following lubrication:
-Motul Race Oil
-Penn Grade #1 Racing Petroleum(New owner of Kendall)
-Joe Gibbs Race Oil
-Recommended Zinc Phosphate Additive ZDDP Plus
-Red Line Full Synthetic Oil only.
Running these oils only, will that make a difference in the bearing clearances?

Yes, this will be a dedicated track only engine, as Megacycle recommends not running these cams on the street, or they will wear prematurely.

Thanks in advance for any replies and comments.

the oil is not going to change the clearance, unless it breaks down and the bearings sieze.
I think after a break in I would be running the synthetic oil, you shouldnt have any issues

Since it's a track bike, I'd try to get the maximum clearance on the rods and mains.

Use the biggest bearings Kawasaki makes with whatever the measurements are on the journals? For-izzo?
