Let me be the Diplomat here! You say sure Honey, thanks, now I can have both Jap & Harley Both cycles best of both worlds!
Back in the early 90's on the drag bike circuits Jammie Morroco from New England Ran both 4 cylinder Kaw Nitro Fuel bike and he had a Harley Nitro bike also he raced same weekends. His Harley was a weird color of pink?

If you've seen one new Harley you've seen em all, when ever I go somewhere with a couple of friends of mine & their new 25,000 Harleys
everyone walks by their bikes, & stop & talk about my 35 yr. old Kaw.

I would tell her if she buys it for you and pays for the insurance you will take her for rides on it when you're not riding your Kaw. Ed

So, my 22 year old son had a CBR 600 he wanted a Harley. His mom was all for it. Her thinking was it is slower. Well, we found him one and bought it. I rode the CBR, the Harley and my ZL 900 and she was right it was significantly slower. The handling was not even close. My KZ 1000 is both faster and better handling. Well, my son is happy and so is the misses. I still have my Kawis and couldn't be happier!

Went tooling around on a junk cruddy crusty KZ1000, parked at the station for fuel and a dr pepper, came back out kaw wet itself (carbs leaking) and still drew a croud, questions and compliments. From a croud of harley riders none the less
