Seems I caught the Kawasaki Fever
28 Sep 2015 13:56
I was checking out Craigslist and ran into an add for a '81 kz750E. Price was at 600. Got it down to 425 delivered. Pic to follow.

Sweet ride bro. I have an 80. I just spent the last 2 minutes playing spot the difference.

There's a 77 KZ 650 for $400 on CL. No pics. He says it's perfect for a cafe style project. I sent him a e-mail asking for pics. I might be able to save one from the butcher.

Got a responce, he sent a pic of a front end he wants to sell for $200. I asked for pics of the bike so he sent this.
The plugs are out and I asked how long has it been this way, title, etc. We'll see what he says. I'll have to drive 200 miles there and back to get it.

Is that the SR model? Looks like it from here. They have nice lines out of the box. Go on Steve, it will help you get over your sellers remorse on that old 550. For 400 bucks + hours of quality garage time, sweet deal!

Fire up the bumpside throw your tiedowns in the back. Shame and beat him down $200 over the plugs being out. Bring it home and nurse it back to health.
