Wow I'm tired!

Been having my lady start my bike once in a while since I've been up north for the last 2 months. Battery died (knew it would happen eventually. Got to get that trickle charger!) and tried kick starting it! Wow that is tiring and didn't get it to start! Off to the store for a charger!

Agree with Steve about the battery. Also unless your lady is riding your bike for at least 20 minutes each time she starts it, more harm than good is happening to your bike.

When I was teen, I was working on a friend's Kz1000. I probably weighed 130 lbs back then. He was closer to 200. It was nothing for him to kick start it once or twice, but I spent all day kicking that thing to troubleshoot carbs and ignition. I probably weighed 110 by the end of the day.

Ya she rides it to the ice cream place not too far or around the back neighborhood. Doesn't like open roads but does like a little ride. I installed a new tach and says it doesn't draw from the battery but I think it might with the way I wired it. Also I think she may have left it on but is too afraid to tell me ha.

I have a normal sealed battery now. Should I get the lithium battery?

AGM from batterystuff.com. Get a Scorpion if they have it for your bike.

If you decide on Lithium you should check the bike's charging system first to ensure it is working perfectly. Lithium batteries can be damaged if the charging system has problems. Ed

I'll stick with the tried and true lead/acid battery.

Bought the ion battery and a charger for my old one. The old one was relatively new (6 months) so worth it. My charging system is at 14.something so the ion should be fine. Directions say nothing over 15 so ya.
