Yup,wrong country. Im in Holland and the Ace cafe is in England, just outside London. The Utrecht show was a big expo type thing with all the latest models on offer.Colour coordinated leathers and helmets etc 'BikerLifestyle' and all that crap. Not very interesting. I went in the hope of a flea market area or some reasonably priced parts stalls for my build
but all I came home with was a T-bar ,a set of vice jaw rubbers and some paddock stand bobbins for the Bandit and the only bikes of any interest were the dozen or so ' Classics' stuffed away in a corner.
The new'Ducati' Scrambler was nice though.
The Ace cafe,on the other hand, is an institution .Part of British biking history, and though they were closed down for quite a few years theyre open again for a while now and are attracting a whole new generation of bike lovers. They always have things going on, ride outs, partys and marque specific days.
