worst shape bike you have owned

We have all brought home projects that may have made our SO's think we were crazy. This bike wasn't vintage when I brought it home just wrecked and very ugly. I bought it to have a more dependable bracket racer than the H-2 I was racing at the time.

What did the worst basket case you ever brought home look like?

Found mine after a 9 year stint left all alone, neglected, forgotten, (sniff) outside behind a farm house...still not "finished" (are they EVER? LOL!)

But, I don't see it... How did you incorporate the axle into the bike?

Mine is nowhere near as nice as some of the rebuilds, but my lil'650 was complete w/~13k on the clocks and I sorta like the patina that comes with age. All that matters, in my book, is that she runs well.
