KZ1000P Lights?

Hey everyone.
A buddy of mine is selling an 80's model California Highway Patrol KZ1000P (not sure of the exact year). It still has the original police emblems, siren, and strobe lights. He's offered to sell it to me for a pretty decent price. I really like the police bikes because it's clear that they are police bikes with all the lights and stuff on them. I'd only be interested in buying it if I could keep it looking like a police KZ1000. Does anyone know if it's legal to keep the police equipment on the bike?

Can't say for sure, but I know this... in California only real emergency vehicles are allowed to have blue lights. Don't ask.... :blush:

I don't think you can have red lights facing forward. If you have the gum ball strobe you would have to change it to amber not red or blue.
