Am thinking that the two threaded holes from the bottom can't be located close enough together in order to intersect with the single threaded hole from the top.

I like the look as Les has done it . Each line comes out of the bottom tree already pointed toward the intended caliper

Please refresh my memory as to the purpose of the specail Triple Trees? Was it to kick it out a little? Or just Looks? Or?

Hi Ed
My motives were mostly to eliminate the ugly splitter and add a some real Hi Performance , Lite weight , stronger and far better looking trees to my Bike. Trees are stock geometry.
