Where bike was made

Hi guys I have a 76 kz900. Been trying to locate where bike was made and if engine is correct. Vin is Z1F508705 engine is Z1E103711. I have looked at some sites they either say no none match or bike was made in Europe but no details. Thank you in advance for any help.

I thought the bikes were either manufactured in Japan or assembled here in Lincoln.

Engine made in Japan, and frame made in USA. The numbers are correct.

VIN. number's starting with a 5 are Lincoln built bike's.

1980 KZ650 F1
ZX750A1 motor.
Wiseco 810cc kit.
Zukiworks racing ported head.
VM 29 smooth bore's.
Dyna 2000 Ign. w/Dyna mini coil's
APE cylinder stud's and nut's.
APE valve spring's.
APE Track King clutch.
V/H KZ1000 sidewinder.
3.5x18 laced to a KZ1000 disk hub.
150/60/18 Shinko 006 Podium.
63" wheel base.

The label doesn't indicate the place of manufacture?
From the info at Zedder.com for the 76 A4 the bike appears to be a USA model.

Frame No. Range --- Japan MFR Z1F-085701 - 117060
Frame No. Range --- USA MFR Z1F-500001 - 510340

I think it was an across the board thing with Kaw.
all bike's built in the USA vin. started with a 5. best I know.
