Now you know why I think modern suspension on 40 y/o bikes is retarded. You need the whole package.

I don't know why you think a cheap upgrade to newer forks, swing arm, and wheels, on an older bike is retarded. But fortunately there's a whole bunch of folks that disagree with you.
