Can you believe the groundhog said six more weeks of winter, At least it is a little warmer here in Toronto than North Bay, I remember one winter there visiting my inlaws it got to -45 Celsius, my car battery expanded and it looked more like a football than a square.
I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

Try to jump start a frozen battery? I was using a gas powered DC welder to charge a pair of 8D batteries that I didn't know were frozen, sure am glad I was in the cab when one of them exploded!

I used to hate winter too, but now I rather enjoy it. What I enjoy about it most and foremost is all those Harleys with that "patented sound" are sitting silent. Listen to the sound of silence of winter. A wonderful thing. Now I can't ride and miss it dearly currently, but the benefit to not riding is they can't ride either, so it makes me down right happy. :)
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.
