A paddock stand sounds great......but as I have never used one what I would like to see is a step-by-step photo essay of how to put your bike on one. I just don't see how it can be done comfortably with only one person (beautiful ladies of the night notwithstanding) unless it's a side stand on a block of wood first to keep the bike as upright as possible?

If you go with a paddock stand please post some pictures so others can see what type you decided on. Some of them look like they would be nice to have even if the bike still had a centerstand. Thanks, Ed

I have a paddock stand made for spools. I just welded on two internally threaded dealies, then screwed in a couple spools I got at the local bike shop. All you do is hold the bike vertical with your hip and get the stand started on the spools, then press down on the back of the stand.
