Help identifying this 73 Kaw?
17 Aug 2013 13:46
Found on CL in my area, looks it could be a bit of winter fun
When asked what model, seller sent me a pic of what I'm assuming is the serial, GA 350561. Google has failed me or I'm failing at Google. Any ideas, gents?

Well, it is so highly modified, and the pipe covers up so much of the engine, it is difficult to tell.
The carb is on the side of the engine, which means it is a rotary valve engine.
Other than being a one-lunger two stroke rotary valve, difficult to say.

The VIN is probably G4 not GA.
The G4 was a 100cc trail bike - made form 1970 to 75.

Wow I just realized that's a pod filter hanging off the carb! Has to be waaaaaaaaaay too much air for that carb.

Thanks for the replies, yall. Jeff, it is definitely a GA but it sounds like you aren't too far off. I think the 73 on this page looks pretty close...

Fun bikes but they are tiny. I'm curious what pipe is on there, looks like sopme modern pipe retro fitted? Klemms can help you out with engine mods. I had a 2000 KE100 I wanted to try to get 65mph out of. Top speed, fully crouched with 170# rider was 55mph. Sold that bike, but picked up this 79 KD100 for $75. All it need to run was a carb cleaning and ignition coil. It was missing some stuff like the seat and rear axle hardware when I got it. I have about $300 into it now with a new clutch, fork rebuilt new chain, etc. Parts on Ebay can be affordable if you look around. The G series and KD/KM/KE bikes share a ton of parts.
