My first riding experience.

About a week ago a bought my first bike, a KZ200, with the intent of learning to ride. I have never ridden before or even worked a clutch! So last weekend, with the help of my father, I learned and practiced the very basics of riding. Spending around three hours practicing in the backyard, which came with its fair share of burns, bumps, and bruises.

This past week I did some basic maintenance for peace of mind. I changed the oil, oil filter, spark plug, tires, tubes, and gave her a good wash. I took it for a quick around the block today after and it ran great!

This is a great starter bike and it is loads of fun! I can't wait to get it on the road!

Here is a pic of the insides...

Welcome to the fold, and welcome to the forum. Nice bike! Lately the smaller-displacement bikes are getting real popular. Think about taking an MSF class if there's one in your area.

Welcome aboard! That is a great bike to learn on - not too heavy, not too fast. I learned how to ride on a friend's Honda CB 160 and it was about as much as I could handle at the time. ;) Ed
