Look at what followed me home.....

So much fun....1972 Honda CB750. Everything works perfectly. Runs fantastic. Unbolted the stupid aftermarket wind fairing in the parking lot before riding it home an hour on the interstate. Goofy ape hangers had to stay though...for now. Found this bike for my father-in-law and will deliver it next month to him in Memphis, TN. Spun the rear tire getting on the on ramp unexpectedly....

I am in love with this bike and it is itching for a full resto/cafe treatment.....so I sent my father-in-law this picture this morning....

Great looking bike. ..... except for the ape hangers
You don't see many with the 4 into 4 exhausts . Wouldn't take much to get it to original if you took that route.
These bikes are not usually cheap.

Yep 4 into 4 was stock. I had the smaller 500/4 in 78 and while 4 into 4 was stock for that model also it had been converted to a 4 ->1 by the time I got it. Those original 4 into 4s didn't last

Here's a very nice original from the Paris Ontario swap meet 2 years ago

The problem with the 4 into 4 stock exhaust is the mufflers are rotted out so they are LOUD! It came with a very nice 2 into 1 twin pipe setup from a 76 CB750 which will go on it. Got 4 side covers, so will pick the best two, scuff them up and shoot them with the matching paint. Will remove the poor fitting crash bars tomorrow. Will remove the foolish Big Horn bars and put stock bars or Superbike bars on it with new cables. Got to buy a chock and mount to put it in the back of the RV for this weekend.
