Bridgestone BT45 tires, strange.

This is from another forum. Look at the cracks on this tire. This particular guy had this happen on both tires. Bridgestone says "not a tire defect, the tires were subjected to freezing temps and unfortunately not their problem". What the??? We have to bring motorcycles in the house now during winter?
Pretty strange, I wouldn't be very pleased with this explanation from the company.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

I better check my BT45s next time I'm over at my buddies garage.
The garage is not heated, and we just had 3+ months of freezing temps.
Last year the tires were fine.

Is that a radial tire in the picture above?
Sidewall looks fairly low.

How old is that tire? Bridgestone has been making BT45's for over 25 years. If its over 7 years (some trie co's say 5 years) old its junk.

It's a radial on a ST1300 Honda that is 6 months old. I was wrong about both of this guys tires doing this, only this one did it, but it did the same thing all around the tire on both sides the same way.

I dont think cold would do that. I wonder if its not a poorly manufactered tire, and I currently have a pair , That maybe something was spilled on the one tire ( like acetone ) Just a wild guess.

I have BT45s and have around 1500 miles on them. No issues whatsoever. But I will be keeping a closer eye on them now.
